In the UK Tony has regularly presented at seminars run at the ‘International Confex’ exhibition and at ‘Event UK’. He will be chairing a seminar at ‘International Confex 2010’ entitled ‘What’s happening – are we on the road to recovery?’ which will take place on Thursday 25 February 2010 from 14.15 to 15.00 hours at Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
Tony is speaking at a series of Meetings Industry Association (MIA) networking events in 2010 on the subject of ‘Winning More Meetings Business – A Partnership Approach’. He has organised 1-day and 2-day training courses in venue/destination marketing in Tees Valley, Herefordshire, and North Wales, and contributed to such courses run in Inverness and the Highlands of Scotland. He has also been a speaker at AGMs and seminars convened by Shakespeare Country (2008), Kent Conference Bureau (2008), Bournemouth International Conference Bureau (2007), Bath Hotel and Conference Association (2006 and 2008), Conference Lancashire (2003).
He was a speaker at the hotel marketing conference held in York (June 2007) and at a one-day conference on business tourism organised jointly by the Tourism Management Institute and the British Association of Conference Destinations held in London (May 2008). He presented at the institute of economic development annual conference in Bournemouth (October 2009).
He regularly presents at a number of UK universities, including:
